Howling Owls

Legends say owls bring change and encourage us to look deeper. As night creatures, they symbolize wisdom and creativity. Their distinct look inspires art and serves as a bridge between the physical and spiritual realms. Owls in art reflect themes of change and nature's mysteries. Recent owl sightings make me think about what I've overlooked in my hurried life. It's time to slow down and appreciate the beauty around me.

Natural Dye & Fibers

My world was influenced early by a wonderfully creative Swedish woman. Her patience and kindness over the years taught me to see nature’s beauty, texture and gifts. She was a spinner, a weaver, a natural dyer. I am grateful for her curiosity and the influence she had on my life. I now use a variety of dye techniques utilizing the colors found naturally in plants. The results are stunning and differ with seasons and techniques.
